Concrete equipment works out of the port warehouse area.

  1. Concrete Batching Plant: Also known as a concrete plant, this equipment mixes various materials (such as sand, aggregate, slag, cement, fly ash, and water) to form concrete. Concrete batching plants come in different types:
    • Dry mix concrete plant: Used for temporary site projects or smaller-scale projects.
    • Wet mix concrete plant: Suitable for larger projects like ports, bridges, tunnels, dams, and large buildings.
  2. Concrete Pump: A concrete pump transports liquid concrete from the production area to the casting site. There are two main types:
    • Line concrete pumps: Typically used in small construction projects. These pumps are attached to the back of a truck.
    • Boom concrete pumps: Ideal for larger projects, as they can pump concrete to different heights and lengths. They are commonly used for constructing multi-level buildings and bridges.
  3. Concrete Mixer: This equipment combines cement, aggregates, and water to create concrete. Unlike batching plants, which belong to a whole production line, a concrete mixer is usually a single machine. There are two types:
    • Batch concrete mixers: Suitable for small projects where concrete demand is not constant.
    • Continuous mixers: Typically used in larger projects like roads, bridges, and dams.
  4. Concrete Vibrator: When concrete is poured, small air bubbles can form. If left to dry, these bubbles create holes within the concrete, affecting its integrity. Concrete vibrators help by shaking the newly poured concrete, forcing the air bubbles out. There are two types:
    • Internal vibrators: Commonly used in most construction projects due to their affordability and flexibility.
    • External vibrators: More suitable for vertical constructions like walls.
  5. Concrete Paver: Also known as a paving machine, a concrete paver is used to lay asphalt concrete on roads, parking lots, bridges, and other surfaces.
